As part of MSC Cruises’ latest initiative, internationally renowned bars, including some from Spain, will feature as pop-ups on select MSC Cruises’ ships, each on a six-month-long stint. Among the names are award-winning bars such as Paradiso and Sips from Barcelona. This will allow guests to experience some of the most elite mixology while on their cruise.

To make the experience authentic, top mixologists from each of the award-winning bars will personally and painstakingly train onboard teams, offering up the secrets of their signature cocktails that have earned them international acclaim. By doing so, will ensure that the authentic and distinctive flavors and techniques are used on board and served to MSC’s guests.

Speaking of the new initiative, Jacques Van Staden, Food & Beverage Vice President at MSC Cruises said in a statement:

We’re delighted to bring the ‘World’s Greatest Bars’ concept on board our ships to create world-class and innovative experiences for our guests.

The new program brings our food and beverage offerings to new heights, providing unforgettable experiences not seen before at sea. We’re thrilled to have on board such exciting bars, SIPS and Paradiso, two ranked as some of the best in the world. These two bars are incredibly hard to get into right now, so we’re so excited that our guests can get a taste of the action.

Meanwhile, the initiative launched on April 1 and will feature Paradiso’s pop-up on the MSC World Europa. Moreover, the expert mixology of Sips will be served on board the MSC Euribia. Both pop-ups will run for a six-month period on their respective host vessels.

However, this isn’t all, as MSC Cruises continues to enhance its Food & Beverage offerings with such new concepts as the Helios Wine Bar on MSC Euribia. This is an immersive digital experience to delight current and future generations of wine aficionados.

Meanwhile, those who love gin can experience The Gin Project on MSC World Europa – a retail outlet selling a curated selection of more than 70 craft gins. Moreover, the iconic Masters of the Sea microbrewery, also hosted on MSC World Europa, is where guests can experience specialty beers, brewed with desalinated seawater. The cruise line hopes to satisfy any discerning beer enthusiast sailing on its ships.
