Virgin Hotels Announces New Hotel – Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch

Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Hotels, the luxury lifestyle hospitality brand, is making its debut by opening a new hotel in Shoreditch. Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch takes the company back to its roots and is set to open on August 1, 2024, in the heart of Shoreditch, London.

As Virgin Hotels continues its global expansion, the eighth Virgin Hotel will open in London, taking the company back to where Sir Richard Branson first started the Virgin Group. Moreover, the new property will be the 17th in the wider Virgin Hotels Collection. This comes after having announced a new Kenya property and following the successful launch of hotels in Edinburgh and New York in 2023.

Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch will be part of the long-term agreement between Virgin Hotels and Reuben Brothers, the global leaders in real estate investment and development. Moreover, the property brings Virgin’s iconic trademark and personalized hotel experience to one of England’s capital’s most vibrant neighborhoods, known for its fashion, tech, culture and creative arts scene.

About the hotel

The 120-bedroom Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch is located at 45 Curtain Road in Shoreditch and like the company’s other hotels, is one of the most striking buildings in the East End landscape. Speaking of the new hotel, Virgin Group’s founder, Sir Richard Branson said:

When does Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch open?

Virgin’s first hotel in London opens on August 1, 2024, which will see the start of a gradual transformation, bringing the hotel to a fully-fledged Virgin hotel with everything the brand is known for.

Under its luxury lifestyle hospitality, the hotel will showcase the Spanish restaurant, BiBo, in association with world-famous chef, Dani Garcia. Moreover, it will feature a rooftop bar, pool, restaurant, private members club, fitness and treatment rooms.
