Ananda in the Himalayas reveals new Deluxe Suites

Based in Delhi, Deepa Sama is the designer who led a six-month project, focusing on elevating the guest experience at Ananda in the Himalayas. The new suites offer guests an experience by bringing nature and the natural surroundings to the forefront for added peace and harmony.

The wellness retreat nestles on 100 acres of grounds and gardens in the Himalayan foothills and with the completion of the new suites, offers 64 rooms, three villas and eight suites.

Deluxe Suites

While debuting the new room category, the retreat invites guests to discover the new Deluxe Suites, which add to the wellness resort’s portfolio of exceptional room types.

The two, new Deluxe Suites have a private balcony that overlooks the serene Rishikesh Valley, or the regal Maharaja’s garden. Here, guests can relax, unwind and reflect while enjoying nature’s splendors. Each two-bay suite offers the perfect blend of elegance, comfort and breathtaking views.

The suites’ interior features tastefully decorated bedrooms, connected to elegant sitting rooms, which reflect Ananda in the Himalayas’ commitment to understated timeless luxury. Each Deluxe Suite features bathrooms with spacious layouts, boating splendid bathtubs, life-size mirrors and windows framing the beautiful garden or valley views. Meanwhile, the new Garden Suite offers its guests a secluded garden with an outdoor deck with a chaise lounge and tea table for the best in relaxation.

Refurbished suites

Moreover, the redesign project refurbished the property’s Ananda Suite and Viceregal Suite. Nestling on the ground floor, overlooking the valley, the Ananda Suite offers a spacious private garden, including a gazebo to enjoy moments of reflection outdoors.

The historic Viceregal Suite is located in the precincts of the Maharaja’s Palace and boasts a large private garden with gazebo seating ideal for moments of reflection in the outdoors.

Moreover, the historic Viceregal Suite also boasts a rooftop gazebo overlooking the landscaped gardens and the distant Ganga Valley. Furthermore, the sophisticated enhancements to these regal suites bring the retreat’s guests closer to nature, with the fluidity of indoor and outdoor living.
