Philips AVENT Blogger Breakfast at BlogHer13 – Chicago

On Friday July 26th, 2013 The Travel Moms were invited to attend a private event by Phillips Avent at BlogHer 2013.  The event was a breakfast held at the Signature Room at 95th atop the John Hancock building.  So we could experience even more of Chicago, Philips Avent provided trolley service to and from our hotel to the event.

I am so pleased we opted to take the trolley ride to the event, it was lots of fun.  I had never been to the Signature room and had heard many good things about it and it did not disappoint.  The elevator up to the top is a bit scary, but worth the ride.  The views were incredible as you can see in the above pic.

Not only was the location amazing but Phillips Avent provided a yummy breakfast for all while we learned about some of their many useful products.  Their new Comfort Breast Pumps were one of the items featured.  The new breast pump allows Moms to sit comfortably with no need to lean forward.  Which results in more milk and no back pain. I was particularly excited about this item because many of the mothers who attended remarked on how well it packed and traveled.   Of course The Travel Moms is all about how Moms can travel more conveniently so for the nursing Mom this is a must have.

Another item featured was the Toddler Natural Drinking Cup that helps transition toddlers to regular drinking cups without the mess.  We have been transitioning my granddaughter with this cup and it has worked perfectly.  We tried other cups and she ended up spilling most of her drink on herself or the floor.  Not only does this cup work, but it is super cute.  It comes in a range colors to suit all tastes.

Another item we saw was Philips Avent’s line of pacifiers which not only have adorable designs but they are Orthodontic BPA-free.

When we left the event we were given a goodie bag with Philips Avent Bottles and Pacifiers.  My friend Anik is pregnant with her first child and I wanted to introduce her to Philips Avent since we have used the line with my granddaughter and love everything.

Anik was thrilled to get the products as a new Mom she is looking to providing the best products to her new son (Yes, Anik knows she is having a boy!)  Anik looks forward to using more of the Philips Avent product line when her new bundle of joy is born.

Thanks to Phillips Avent – it was a great event both informative lots of fun and we enjoyed superb service the entire time offered by the staff of the Signature Room – we even got to take pictures!!
