For starters, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter encompasses several areas at Universal Parks & Resorts which is now open following the coronavirus shutdown. The locales are based on the Harry Potter franchise which was started via the novels by J.K. Rowling.

For fun times, visitors can go to Hogwarts Express stations that allow passengers to enter the theme parks on board a full-scale replica of the train that appears in the film series.
At the Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has a re-creation of Hogsmeade and offers three rides including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. A roller coaster called Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure replaced the Dragon Challenge and opened on June 13, 2019.
Hogsmeade contains gift shops and restaurants from the book series. These include Dervish and Banges, Honeydukes, Ollivanders, the Three Broomsticks, and the Hog’s Head.

At the Universal Studios Florida theme park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has a re-creation of Diagon Alley and a small section of Muggle London. It includes the ride Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts as well as Ollivanders Wand Shop, a puppet performance of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and a live performance by Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees.
Visitors can shop and dine at The Leaky Cauldron, Ollivanders Wand Shop, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Borgin and Burkes, Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions, Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment and Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour.

The World of Harry Potter opened at Universal Studios Hollywood on April 7, 2016. The main attraction is the flight-simulation ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey which is similar to the Orlando ride. Initially there were Quidditch-inspired 3D goggles but the 3D visuals have been replaced by 2D.
At the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka, Japan, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter debuted in July 2014. Visitors there can tour the village of Hogsmeade, go on the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride and the Flight of the Hippogriff roller coaster. This location contains two features not present in the Orlando or Hollywood parks: Hogwarts’ Black Lake and live owls.
