The legendary fictional character James Bond has visited many great locations in the various 007 films. For that reason, fans will soon be able to enjoy 007-themed tours to those glamorous locations in Europe. The 007 tours will be offered in collaboration with the luxury tour company Black Tomato, with the help of the movie’s location managers.
Travel like James Bond on 007 tours
In recent years, many tour operators have taken fans on tours of various filming locations. One such example is tours of the Game of Thrones filming locations in various places around the world. Now it’s time for fans of the James Bond movies to experience 007 tours of the various locations seen in the movies.
The new tour venture is dubbed “The Assignment: Europe” and will be launched to coincide with 60 years of the James Bond movies. So far, the actual itinerary has yet to be announced. However, so far confirmed 007 experiences include VIP access to the Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco, waterskiing on Lake Como in Italy and various stops in London, Venice and Paris. So far, plans are being made for a tour of the European filming locations, but eventually, it is hoped that tours will take Bond fans to other filming locations.
Fans will remember that the various movies have been filmed in some amazing places in the world over the years. Eventually, 007 fans can expect visits to Cuba, Hong Kong, Iceland, Jamaica and other truly remarkable destinations. For instance, in Bond 25 – No Time to Die, filming was carried out in Italy, Jamaica, Norway, Scotland and the Faroe Islands. So far, three places have been added to the itinerary for The Assignment: Europe as follows.
Casino de Monte-Carlo, Monaco
James Bond lives in a truly glamorous world, something normally beyond the reach of us normal mortals. One place that Bond is sure to go is the iconic Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco. Meanwhile, on the 007 tours, you’ll have a chance to play your hand in private areas of the luxurious casino, normally closed to the public.
Lake Como, Italy
You may recall from Licence to Kill that Bond visited Lake Como and went water skiing along the shoreline of Moltrasio. Following this adventure, hop on a waiting seaplane for your extraction, ready for your next adventure.
Chantilly, France
This area of France is home to Europe’s oldest and most prestigious equestrian center, the Chateau de Chantilly. This amazing place is featured in the 007 film View To A Kill. Meanwhile, you will get to explore the museum and the world-class training center. Next, head out on horseback through the beautiful Chantilly Forest.
Other exciting James Bond 007 tour locations
Besides these three locations, Bond’s iconic assignments have taken him from the River Thames in London to the Cote d’Azur. A wondrous world of breathtaking adventure among snow-capped peaks, beautiful lakes and more will be waiting for you.
