Peanuts-Themed Valentine’s Day Party With Snoopy and Sister Belle: Win a Party-In-A-Box For Your Peanuts Valentine’s Day Party!
Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang’s cartoons and holiday specials are a timeless classic, it doesn’t matter if you are 3 years old or 33 years old, it is impossible to watching the flying beagle, Charlie Brown, and the gang without a smile on your face. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and love is in the air – and who doesn’t love Snoopy, Linus, Charlie Brown, Sally, and that adorable Little Red-haired Girl? February 14th brings out the child in all of us, and there is nothing more childlike and pure than the love Charlie Brown has for the Little Red-Haired Girl.
Francesca Capaldi, the 10 year old actress that plays the part of Charlie Brown’s crush the Little Red-Haired Girl in the 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios 3D family film “The Peanuts Movie,” threw an amazing Valentine’s Day party at the Park Hyatt in Carlsbad, California and Snoopy and his sister Belle were in attendance. Francesca, Snoopy, and friends enjoyed Peanuts themed Valentine’s Day cupcakes and spent the afternoon decorating their own Valentine’s Day cards before enjoying a showing of the classic holiday special “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown.”
Francesca’s party looked like a blast – so when I was given the opportunity to recreate the Charlie Brown themed Valentine’s Day party for my kids, I jumped at the opportunity! And, the Peanuts Party in a Box made the preparations a cinch. When I opened the Party in a Box I found Valentine’s Day cup cake and cupcake decorations from DecoPac (which are AMAZING and make the icing process so simple), Peanuts Valentine’s cards with arts and craft supplies to add a personal touch, Nestle candy, and the official Peanuts cupcake recipe from the Park Hyatt’s legendary chef Frank Riffaud.
Baking is not generally my forte, however Frank Riffaud’s Valentine’s Day cupcake recipe made me feel like a pro! Once the delicious cupcakes cooled, I used Frank Riffaud’s recipe to recreate the same delicious buttercream frosting that was served at Francesca and Snoopy’s “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” party. The Peanuts Party in a Box provided me with the same adorable Valentine’s Day cupcake toppers from DecoPac that were served by Frank Riffaud, which I used to put the finishing touches on the tasty treats.
The kids were thrilled with their Peanuts themed Valentine’s Day party, and they spent hours using the foamies and jewels that were in the Party in a Box to create their own custom Charlie Brown Valentine’s Day cards for each other (although the sugar rush from the addictive cupcakes may have also been a factor in their sudden burst of creativity). After our sugar buzzes wore off we all cuddled up in the living-room and watched “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown” for free on ITunes!
