Good news is on the horizon for families wishing to enjoy a fun-filled cruise, as bookings open this month for Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish. Read on to find out more about this fun and exciting ship and how to make a reservation for your family.

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish offers everything possible for a great experience for children and adults alike. The ship has storybook-inspired staterooms, new dining experiences and a number of unique attractions you won’t find on any other cruise ship.
In fact, the Disney Wish promises a magical voyage, for all guests, of all ages. Yes, it is not just the kids that will have a fabulous time!
What does the Disney Wish offer?
The newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet has everything Disney fans could want, including family-friendly programming, immersive dining experiences and many opportunities for guests to see their favorite characters.
The Disney Wish will feature the first at-sea Disney attraction, AquaMouse. This fun water ride will feature show scenes, special effects and more along its 760 ft of tubes, hovering over the upper decks of the ship. The vessel will also feature a Toy Story-themed splash zone for the younger kids. On top of all this, the ship will also have six pools, perfect for keeping the whole family cool and refreshed on their cruise.
As for the children, the kids’ club will feature fantastic programming for every age group. Among the programming, children from the age of 3 to 12 can have a great time in Disney’s Oceaneer Club. Here kids can train to become their favorite superheroes at the Marvel Super Hero Academy. Girls will love the princess-inspired activities in Fairytale Hall. All kids will be able to discover Disney Imagineering secrets in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab.
Disney Wish for the adults
The adults in the family can also have plenty of fun, dining in one of the three upscale dining venues, influenced by Beauty and the Beast. They can also relax and revive from strenuous working life in the Senses Spa, with its range of beauty treatments, massages and more. Evening fun is available in the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, an immersive bar that serves drinks inspired by a galaxy far, far away.
The whole family can enjoy world-class entertainment on board the Disney Wish, including a Marvel-inspired dining adventure and a Frozen-theme theatrical dining experience.
When do reservations open?
Reservations for future sailings on the Disney Wish open to the general public on May 27. Meanwhile, select Disney guests and Castaway Club members were able to start early bookings on May 17.
Once reservations are in hand, the Disney Wish will leave on its maiden voyage next summer, on June 9, 2022. Following the inaugural, five-night sailing, Disney Wish will embark on a choice of three- and four-night Bahamian cruises. These will leave from Port Canaveral to Nassau, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
